"Bert" is a 2 YO grade bay gelding that has really shown promise of being a nice-gentle ranch horse prospect. He has a great attitude, is very relaxed, and has taken the first few rides really well. This gelding should certainly mature over 15 hands. He also has some nice bone, a good foot, and should grow up to be a very good using horse. At this point, he just needs time to grow up and begin to see all that he will be asked to do in the future. The biggest trouble he's given me is with his back feet. As you can see in the video, he still needs somebody that will help him gain confidence with them. Like any colt, he'll also need time to mature but has a good start. Stay after him, and he'll be there in the end. 100% sound.
