Harley - SOLD
"Harley" is a coming 2-year-old, brown, 15.1hh, grade gelding that has +20 rides. This young horse has shown a great disposition during his groundwork and his start under saddle. I've walk, trot, and loped him under saddle, and he has never offered to buck. Due to his young age, his loping is limited, but he has transitioned from the trot to the lope without any trouble. He is soft in the face and is flexing nicely. The only strike I have against him is that he can be a touch lazy at times. If you watch the video, you'll see I have to keep after him in the trot. Other than that, this colt has been a pleasure to start. His only outside riding has been in my small pasture and he has not been watchy or spooky. He should be a great ranch horse for somebody who has the time and space to grow him up. Although he is grade, he came with papers when we purchased him as a foal. The papers we received reflect good breeding, and he has some well-known horses in his background.100% sound. Watch the video of his 20th ride:
