Little Joe - AQHA Gelding - SOLD

$4,000.00
sold out

“Little Joe” is a 2-year-old AQHA gelding with 20 rides. At this point, he is a nice prospect that could go in a variety of directions. One talent he has shown is the athleticism to change direction easily. Although I wouldn’t consider him a cutting prospect, he certainly is above average when it comes to this department and should be a performance horse. In addition to that, he has also demonstrated that he has some “feel.” To me, this means he is learning to be soft in the bit and is also developing softness in his ribcage to your leg. Little Joe has also shown a good disposition and has been relatively easy to train. Don’t let the video fool you, this gelding has shown some life and can certainly pay attention. However, he is also learning to relax. With experience and outside miles, he’ll do nothing but get better. If you’re looking for a big horse, this gelding isn’t for you. Right now, he stands just shy of 13.3 hh. Having purchased him at auction, I can’t say how tall he will get. He does go back to the popular Pitzer horses that have developed a reputation as all-around performance horses. I’d say Little Joe is headed down that road. If you are interested, you should appreciate the video below.
