Notch - SOLD
“Notch” is a 2-year-old grade buckskin gelding that has been ridden around 15 times. So far, he has been a very quiet, predictable, and easy to get along with. At this point, he is being ridden in a snaffle bit and has shown a real softness in the face. He rides well at the walk and trot, and circles nicely, already beginning to understand yielding to inside leg pressure. I have loped him only a few times in the soft sand of my round pen. If you’re looking for a relaxed colt, Notch is a good prospect. As far as his size goes, he is on the smaller side and stands a shade over 14 hh. He gets the “Notch” name from having one ear split an inch or two. Aside from that blemish, there isn’t much bad to say about this colt. Ride him a little, let him grow, and he should be a reliable gelding in a short time. 100% sound. Video below.
