Sarge - SOLD
Coming 2 YO Sorrel Gelding we call "Sarge." This young horse stands 15 hands tall and has a light start under saddle. When he's full-grown, this colt should be well-suited for all sorts of ranch work. He's shown a good temperament and willingness to learn. The video below shows his 20th ride. He's developing a soft feel, though you can see him brace the bit from time to time. If you've got experience riding young horses, you should be able to get along with him just fine. He has never bucked. He can get a little tight at times but he's been able to keep his mind. Once he trusts you, he'll certainly give you a good honest try. I've been working on picking up his feet, and the video shows me handling them. There are still times he can be touchy around them, but he's definitely headed in the right direction. If you are looking for a project to put some light rides on, or want to grow a good young prospect, he's shown some potential and has the size you can't teach. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
